At the pace of your body may the discoveries begin...

Hi, I'm Ali
Breathworker and Somatic Practitioner -
a guide for your transformation
Somatic (suh-mat-ik):
Somatic simply means relating to the body. It's about paying attention to the sensations within your body and understanding that it can store experiences, emotions, and tension. Somatic practices help you listen, release stress, and find balance for overall well-being, giving your body a voice in your journey towards your thriving self.
WELCOME HOME
Moving curiously is a philosophy, it’s about looking outside the box, thinking and moving differently to get different answers and outcomes.
Moving curiously is trauma and nervous system informed which means when you are looking for change it begins from a regulated place so that it’s sustainable and long lasting.
Moving curiously is a place where we embrace the raw, unfiltered essence of your human experience, meet it with love and allow it to heal, express and flourish as it desires to.

WHY WORK SOMATICALLY?
Somatic work is a holistic approach to healing that recognises the intricate connection between your body and your emotions. It's about listening to the wisdom held within the cells, allowing it to guide you towards a more balanced and fulfilled life. Through gentle and mindful practices, it will help you dissolve tension, find presence, increase awareness and unlock your body's innate capacity to heal itself.
This is a journey of discovery, healing and empowerment that you are so worthy of.

A note on TRAUMA
Also know as stuck energy or a stored physiological response within the nervous system. When a difficult event occurs, our natural fight, flight, or freeze responses can become trapped, preventing the resolution of the experience. This approach is to reinstate the safety of the here and now within the session before gently guiding the body to complete its interrupted response in a way that the nervous system has capacity for. This allows a reset and lets it return to its natural flexible state, creating inner resiliency. It's a deeply empowering process, as it puts individuals in charge of their own healing journey, offering a path to liberation that doesn't involve constantly revisiting the pain.

UNLEASH YOUR INNER RESILIENCE
Somatic work isn't just about healing; it's about tapping into your inner warrior. It's acknowledging that your body holds the keys to your wisdom and strength. It’s taking the reins back and rebuilding trust from the inside out. By self experiencing rather than being told something, we can embody it as truth and walk in the knowing of it. The body does not lie and in the same way as it can shed light, it can be reprogrammed and updated. How we are in the body will reflect how our life plays out.

Your Holistic Therapist
I love simplifying life down to energetics. Behind the perception of our human form, this is what we are and certain energy attracts or repels.
With attraction there is resonance, which is exactly what the body needs to feel safe and open to change.
If you feel a pull to my energy this is a signal from your body. This is where the listening and trust begins. Right before the reaching out.
I am here with my dedicated self-experience, gentle compassion, open heart and stable ground. I weave ritual into my life and work, and weave my work into my life. There is no separation and I live and love what I do.
